Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Humraaz, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you are accessing Humraaz on behalf of someone else, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

Service Overview

Humraaz is an AI companion platform designed for supportive conversations across emotional and personal contexts, including relationship stress, heartbreak, parenting pressure, loneliness, and confidence building. The Service is available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and India.

We may update, modify, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time to improve functionality, safety, or performance.

Not Medical, Mental Health, or Emergency Care

Humraaz is not a medical provider, licensed therapist, crisis service, or emergency responder.

The Service is intended for general conversation and emotional support only.

• If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
• If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or a mental health crisis, seek urgent help from a licensed professional or crisis helpline.
• Nothing in the Service constitutes medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Humraaz. Humraaz does not collect or verify your age. By using the Service, you self-declare that you are 13 years of age or older.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if we reasonably believe the age requirement has been violated.

• If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian permission where required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for complying with all local age, consent, and parental permission laws applicable to you.
• If you do not meet the minimum age requirement, you must not use the Service.

Account Creation and Security

Humraaz uses Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In as the only account creation methods. We do not offer direct email and password registration. By signing in, you agree to the terms of the relevant third-party sign-in provider.

We collect your email address and display name from your sign-in provider. Mobile number is optional and not required for use of the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Humraaz only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to harm, threaten, harass, or impersonate any person,
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, decompile, or disrupt the platform or its AI systems,

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation,
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud, deception, or violations of the rights of others.

User Content

You are responsible for the content you submit through the Service, including messages, text, or other material shared in conversations.

You agree not to submit content that:

Humraaz does not actively monitor all conversations but reserves the right to investigate misuse where necessary to maintain safety and compliance with applicable laws.

• Contains confidential information that you do not have permission to share.

Conversation Data and AI Interactions

Text you enter in conversations is processed by AI systems to generate responses. Conversation data may be stored to maintain session continuity, improve system reliability, and support product development.

Humraaz is designed so that conversation content is not directly linked to your identity, email address, or account identifier within the AI processing layer.

You should exercise caution about what personal information you share in conversations. Do not share sensitive personal data such as government ID numbers, passwords, financial account details, or information about third parties without their consent.

AI Output Limitations

AI-generated responses may be imperfect, incomplete, or contextually incorrect.

AI responses reflect automated systems and may not represent the views or opinions of Humraaz.

• Do not rely on Humraaz for legal, financial, medical, or emergency decisions.
• Use your personal judgment and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
• Humraaz does not guarantee that AI responses are accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

Safety and Misuse Reporting

Humraaz aims to provide a supportive and safe conversational environment. While we work to reduce harmful or inappropriate AI responses, automated systems may occasionally produce unexpected outputs.

If you encounter responses that are abusive, unsafe, misleading, or otherwise concerning, you may report them by contacting us at [email protected].

We may review reports to improve system safety, enforce these Terms, and protect users of the Service.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available and functioning reliably. However, Humraaz may experience interruptions, delays, or outages due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party service disruptions, or factors outside our control.

We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access to the Service. We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to perform updates, security improvements, or infrastructure maintenance.

Account Deletion and Data Removal

You may stop using Humraaz at any time. If you wish to request deletion of your account or associated data, you may contact us at [email protected].

We will make reasonable efforts to process deletion requests in accordance with applicable laws and technical limitations of our systems.

Some information may be retained where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security purposes, or legitimate business operations.

Intellectual Property

All Humraaz branding, product design, software, code, content, and associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Humraaz a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the app are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions.

Apple App Store:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

Google Play Store:

Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play’s policies.

We do not have access to or control over billing or refunds processed by Apple or Google.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

Statutory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Third-Party Services

Humraaz relies on third-party services including authentication providers, cloud infrastructure, and AI technology providers to operate the Service.

We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, or issues caused by third-party services outside our control.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if users violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms the platform, other users, or third parties.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

In Australia, the Australian Consumer Law provides guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Humraaz and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of:

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, where Humraaz is operated from, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Users in Australia, the UK, Canada, the United States, and India retain all statutory rights provided under their local consumer protection laws.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When material changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
